A New Perspective on Vinho Verde

We take pride in creating a Vinho Verde DOC Loureiro that reflects the essence of our family’s vineyard, located in the Ponte de Lima region of Portugal. Nestled on the slopes of Monte S. Veríssimo, with granitic soils and a marked Atlantic influence, our grapes mature in a harmonious relationship between the land and its people.

Each bottle of Insubmisso carries ingenuity, dedication, and respect for tradition. With balanced acidity, structure, and the capacity to evolve in the bottle, this Loureiro stands out for its authenticity, while retaining the freshness and fruity character typical of the variety.

Where Innovation Meets Tradition

Sourced exclusively from Loureiro grapes grown in granitic soils at 320 meters of altitude, tempered by Atlantic breezes, our Vinho Verde DOC expresses a more structured Loureiro, free of added gas, capable of aging gracefully. This approach honors the region’s roots and the heritage of Vinho Verde, resulting in a versatile wine equally at home with light summer dishes or a cozy winter meal by the fireplace.

This is a recent project, with its first production in 2019, yet deeply rooted in passion and dedication. Born from the desire to rekindle the tradition of Vinho Verde Loureiro in the Ponte de Lima region, Insubmisso blends cultural heritage with an innovative vision, boldly exploring the potential of this variety.
